MEMPHIS, Tenn. – For some families, school is often a place not just for getting an education, but also, a hot meal.
The YMCA of Memphis and the Mid-South can help you keep your kids fed this summer.
The YMCA summer food program is providing a free 7-day meal packs to children 18 and under. Registration isn’t required.
“We know that summer can be a vulnerable time for many families,” says Jerry Martin, President & CEO, YMCA of Memphis & the Mid-South. “Through this program, we’re working to ensure that no child has to go hungry simply because school is out.”
The program is feeding kids starting this Saturday through August 2.
